I am no photographer.  My pocket sized Canon PowerShot is always within reach, and my job is to document family events and special moments in pictures.  But there are times when Mother Nature begs to be captured as well.  Today was one of those days.

Following yesterday’s thunderstorms and much needed rain, Amity Creek  swelled from a mid-summer level to a proper spring run-off.  And the swells on Lake Superior produced exciting sprays along the shore.  The wonderful part was having it all just outside our door, and I couldn’t resist trying to preserve a few images.
