The lighthouse easily dominates our existence, well beyond our duties as light-keepers. We have the luxury of time to observe it under constantly changing conditions. Its personality varies as much from minute to minute as it does between days.

Camping at its base, essentially living outdoors, keeps us in tune with nature, keenly aware of the nuances in the sky and the action of the waves.

The joy is in experiencing the many moods of the lighthouse and its environs.
